Maths and Numbers in Biology

17/06/2026

Overview

Bringing together complementary expertise in mathematics, modelling, and biology, the Institut Quimic de Sarria Cets (IQS) and the Barcelona Collaboratorium are pleased to invite you to a full‑day scientific event, taking place on June 17 at the IQS campus.

1) The event will bring together researchers working at the interface of mathematics, modelling, and biology, fostering cross‑disciplinary dialogue and the exchange of ideas.

2) The program will feature keynote lectures, contributed talks, and three thematic sessions covering topics such as molecular structure, information across scales, and development.

3) The day will also include a midday poster session, and students are especially encouraged to submit scientific posters and engage with the broader research community
