My research interests focus on the biophysical basis of transcription regulation in eukaryotic systems. Specifically, I am interested in investigating the limits of equilibrium phenomena and the information-processing capabilities of energy dissipation in transcription. A particular focus of interest is the regulatory role of chromatin dynamics and time-scale separations in eukaryotic genomes.
